Genable is a subsidiary of the Digital Health Institute for Transformation (DHIT). We help older adults and their families find technology that supports safety, independence, and everyday life at home.
Choosing among the many available products can be difficult. Genable lets you start with a need, such as managing medications, making a home safer, or staying connected, then explore products that may help.
How we look at products
Our evaluation framework considers four practical questions:
- Effectiveness: Does it do what it promises?
- Experience: Is it straightforward to use?
- Economics: Is it worth the cost?
- Enablement: Will it work for the person’s circumstances, including setup and ongoing support?
We aim to explain the reasons behind each product’s assessment so you can decide what is right for you or someone you care about.
